Vodacom prepaid customers are set to pay a flat call rate of 2c per second on the new Anytime Per Second price plan, available from 26 March 2013.
Vodacom’s latest offer is a simple flat rate plan offering anytime calling to any network across South Africa.
By selecting the new Anytime Per Second price plan, Vodacom customers will be able to enjoy a flat rate of R1.20 per minute. All calls will be billed per second and qualify for Free Night Shift: 60 minutes free calls between midnight and 5am for seven days with every recharge of R12 or more.
Phil Patel, chief officer of Vodacom’s consumer business unit, comments: “When we launched Free4Sho we promised our customers a range of products and services that will offer guaranteed free benefits. Our first Free4sho offering was Daily Free Calls which enables customers to talk for as long as they want.
“We are now taking it a step further by launching a new price plan called Anytime Per Second for customers who make shorter calls and want the simplicity of an anytime, any network rate of just 2c per second.
“All of our 24,7-million prepaid customers are different and what we are now providing is better choice with three very simple offers to choose from.”
