VPSign’s VpadWiz Pro for Android-based tablets is a member of VPSign’s product suite that excels in providing state of the art solutions for paper-replacing document handling and capturing of handwritten signatures on screen.
Available locally from Brand New Technologies, VpadWiz Pro is designed be used on a 10-inch tablet computer with or without an integrated electronic pen, enabling it to display multi-paged documents in full size and capture handwritten signatures and modifications.
Mobile agents of the organisation and their customers can use the same interface as on the stationary VPad 14-inch Paperless Printer (Vpad 1400) while moving about and on the go.
The customer signs the document using the medium of the tablet, as if signing a piece of paper using an ink pen. The difference is that the document is not printed but is stored electronically and is tamper-proof. VpadWiz Pro Plus also stores the signature’s encrypted biometric identifiers for authentication purposes, as it contains a tailored Biometric Capturing module for Samsung 10-inch note tablet.
Documents for signing are delivered electronically to the VpadWiz Pro Plus, which is configured to accept documents printed or transferred from remote Citrix or terminal servers running applications or downloaded directly from the agent’s station. Thus, the documents can be routed to the tablet from a central server or generated locally at the service agent’s computer using any application that is able to print.
Once the consumer signs the document, the VpadWiz Pro Plus calculates a hash code for the document with the handwritten signature and seals it using public key infrastructure (PKI) technology. The sealed document is uploaded to the organisational network and routed to the central server in the network for archiving.
