Westcon Group, a division of Datatec Group, has announced that chief financial officer (CFO) John O’Malley will leave the company to pursue other business opportunities.
O’Malley has served as CFO since 1999, and was given the additional title of executive VP in 2006. He will remain with the Westcon Group until 3 June.
Westcon Group president and CEO Dean Douglas states: “John has excelled in his role and we are grateful for his contributions. Since joining the company more than 14 years ago, John’s leadership and professionalism have been critical elements of our success. As CFO, he contributed at every key evolutionary juncture of the business.”
Westcon Group also announced that John DiRico will act as interim CFO until a successor is named.
