The Unlimited Titans cricket franchise has partnered with Sage VIP HR & Payroll to implement a new software system for personnel performance management.
According to Jacques Faul, CEO of the Unlimited Titans, the move was initiated in order to take sport administration to a new level of efficiency by implementing best practices from the corporate world in a scientific manner.
“The administrative personnel, the board, the coaches and the players will be assessed according to key performance indicators. In sport administration, players, management and even the board can be adversely affected by a work culture dominated by off the field challenges.
“Eventually that will influence the bottom line. Players’ performances on the field and financial sustainability off it will suffer if the work culture is not conducive to stimulate a winning culture,” he adds.

Faul says he believes work culture can be systematically improved by an independent performance appraisal system which measures the effectiveness and work-ethic of each employee and gives them annual feedback.
