TrustPort company, a producer of security solutions for computers and mobile devices, is today announcing, that the series of successes concerning superior detection from the previous year still continues.

TrustPort Antivirus 2014 tops the latest Virus Bulletin comparative and it has once again that it indeed has the best malware detection in the world. The recent Virus Bulletin comparative review was run on the Windows 8.1 platform and 44 different pieces of antivirus software was tested. TrustPort Antivirus has beaten all the other products with the detection rate of 91,4%.

“There were no stability problems to report. Detection was excellent from the dual-engine product – near perfect in the reactive sets and highly commendable in the proactive ones. There were no issues in the certification sets, and TrustPort earns another VB100 award, continuing a nice run of passes,” says John Hawes, test team director at Virus Bulletin.

The comparative included a set of tests, examining on-access and on-demand detection, data throughput speed, archive scanning capabilities, system resources consumption, reactive and proactive detection and so on.

TrustPort Antivirus stopped 100% of wild-list viruses in the on-demand and in the on-access test. Both reactive methods and proactive techniques contributed to this outstanding position. There were absolutely no false alarms reported by the software. These results show the quality of the technology, based on multiple scanning engines and which is optimised for best performance.
