Dimension Data has announced that it has received two Cisco Partner Summit Global awards. The company was recognised as EMEAR Network Architecture Partner of the Year 2014 (South Africa) and EMEAR Data Centre Partner of the Year 2014 (Emerging Africa). Cisco revealed the winners at a Global Awards reception during its annual partner conference which took place last week in Las Vegas.
Awarded to exemplary channel partners, the Cisco Partner Summit awards are designed to recognise best-in-class business practices and serve as a model to the industry. Areas of consideration include innovative practices, application successes, unique programmes, problem solving and sales approaches.
“Cisco is privileged to work alongside the most talented channel partners in the industry, and we remain committed to our partners’ success in South Africa,” says Alpheus Mangale, MD, Cisco, South Africa. “We are honoured to name Dimension Data as Network Architecture Partner of the Year as well as Data Centre Partner of the Year, to acknowledge their outstanding achievements.”
“We are extremely proud to receive these two awards. The Network Architecture and Data Centre Partner of the Year Awards are testament to our capabilities and an endorsement of Dimension Data’s value proposition. We believe that this accolade demonstrates our unwavering commitment to meeting our clients’ needs as well as our relationship with Cisco,” says Anton Jooste, Dimension Data Middle East & Africa’s Networking Business Unit Executive.
