NetXactics has announced an agreement with GFI Software for the distribution of the company’s complete range of IT solutions throughout Africa. GFI offers affordable cloud-based services as well as e-mail and messaging and network security solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. The company focuses on the design and development of enterprise-quality solutions that specifically address the needs of companies with up to 1 000 users.
“GFI’s products facilitate a safer, more efficient IT environment by helping companies secure, monitor, manage and maintain their network. The solutions have been developed to meet the needs of the small to mid-size market, rather than the more typical approach where products are developed for large enterprises and adjusted to also service smaller businesses,” says Brett Myroff, CEO of NetXactics.
GFI’s global partner programme further provides sales and marketing assistance as well as training and IP dedicated to the needs of partners who provide solutions to this market segment.
“Enterprise products are often extremely complex and require a dedicated IT person – or an expensive consultant – to set them up. Smaller businesses can’t afford to exhaust their resources or time on solutions that require attention to features they don’t need – and won’t use,” says Myroff.
“GFI’s products are designed to be installed with minimum configuration and little maintenance, saving time for the administrator to focus on high priority tasks. The company understands that these customers need off-the-shelf, out-of-the-box solutions that are easy to download, install and configure,” he adds.
Johannes Kamleitner, VP of EMEA Sales at GFI, says: “We are excited about this distribution agreement because it will allow us to reach out to channel partners in the region and present to them our range of IT security solutions that address the IT problems faced by businesses every day. With NetXactics’ support and expertise in the region, we hope to boost our successes in Africa in the coming years.”
GFI’s hosted services offer simple sign-up without contractual obligations or mandatory long-term commitments. This enables organisations to easily manage their IT infrastructure at an affordable price and in a hassle-free manner.
All products are further designed to seamlessly integrate with all Microsoft operating systems and networking solutions.
Myroff adds that GFI is focused on tipping the scales in favour of value over price. “Through GFI we have access to a range of products that gives us an opportunity to combat African IT challenges. The products will further be backed up by our local services team throughout the region.”
