Oracle has introduced Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Applications 11.1.1.8.1 which includes prebuilt connectors between Oracle Procurement and Spend Analytics and Oracle’s JD Edwards. Additionally, a new Oracle Human Resources Analytics module for developing and maintaining a skilled workforce has been introduced.

In use at more than 4 000 companies worldwide, Oracle BI Applications support leading enterprise applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft, Oracle’s Siebel CRM, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne offering high-performing analytics at a lower cost.

Built on Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite, the next generation analytics platform, Oracle BI Applications enable organisations to easily extend their BI footprint or build custom BI applications to meet specific analytics

The latest release introduces a new adapter that provides out-of-box integration between Oracle Procurement and Spend Analytics and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, enabling purchasing and sourcing organisations quickly identify savings opportunities and improve operational performance through decision-ready, best practice analytics.

Executives, managers and frontline employees relying on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne can benefit from increased visibility into corporate spend as well as the complete procure-to-pay process, with comprehensive analyses of procurement performance, supplier performance, supplier payable trends and employee expenses.

Oracle Procurement & Spend analytics are tightly integrated with the other solutions in the Oracle BI Applications product line. Built-in key performance metrics and advanced data visualisation capabilities, including the 9-box performance-potential matrix, deliver insights to help HR and managers align their organisations’ talent management needs and strategies with business goals.

Using Oracle Talent Profile Analytics, managers can perform skill gap analysis to pinpoint skill and knowledge shortfalls, improve recruitment decisions, build new training programs to maximise employee success, and gain visibility to help assess needs related to succession and turnover.
