Wireless specialist, TruTeq Devices, is to distribute the Active Track personal GPS system following a partnership deal struck with the developers, EBS.
Active Track is a realtime personal GPS and communications device, bringing a host of benefits for users, says Derick Roberts, CEO of TruTeq Devices.
The robust and versatile product is waterproof and boasts a shock resistant casing. It can be used by both private and commercial users for a number of applications, from logistics companies, security and fire services, to parole systems, child protection, senior and patient care.
The Active Track device also allows immediate location and two-way communication in real-time:
* Lone worker protection (“man down” function);
* VIP protection;
* Outdoor safety for the elderly;
* Children protection;
* Law enforcement (home arrest or parole system);
* Groups or foreign tourism protection;
* Trip management; and
* Escorting valuable shipments and people.
