The world’s most valuable soccer player, Lionel Messi of Argentina, will be sharing his World Cup moments with smartphone users who download the free MIKZ app on their phones.
Messi will share not only World Cup news through MIKZ, but also the chapters of his book as they are completed, and information about the charity work he does in Africa through his personal foundation.
Waheed Adam, group CEO of the Prime Group, says: “This is the closest you can get to the world’s number one soccer star. MIKZ is proud to announce the signing of Messi as our latest international ambassador.
“He will feature as Messi 10 on MIKZ. Messi 10 followers will get on and off the pitch information, personal stories from his childhood, updates on his and Argentina’s performance in Brazil, and personal comments and statements he chooses to share. ”
The MIKZ app will be pre-installed on to all Samsung S5 handsets, and can also be downloaded from Google Play, by searching for MIKZ Africa. Once downloaded, users can select “Messi 10” from the side menu.
