Distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has been awarded the South African Distributor of the Year award at Symantec’s Vision Symposium 2014, held in Dubai recently.
“The Distributor of the Year award is based not just on volume of sales, but the entire Symantec offering. This includes the value that the distributor adds, targets and growth, as well as the amount of investment from a capital and resource perspective,” says Fred Mitchell, Symantec business unit manager at DCC.
“DCC boasts a large Symantec team with dedicated sales, marketing and administrative staff. We also offer training facilities and programs to help enable our channel partners, and invest significant time and effort into helping to build the Symantec brand within our organisation and our distribution channels. All of these factors have contributed towards our achievement of this award year after year,” he adds.
In addition to rewarding distributors and partners for extraordinary achievement, Symantec’s Vision is an excellent networking event. It enables distributors, resellers and customers to experience the latest Symantec solutions and to gain deeper insight into Symantec´s strategy.
“Attending these events not only gives distributors the opportunity to be recognised for their achievements, but also allows us to further develop our knowledge of the Symantec offering. We can then better service our customers, helping them to make the right choices, and further growing the Symantec brand,” says Mitchell.
