Bytes Managed Solutions secured two awards at this year’s NCR Customer and Partner Conference held in Dubai.
As the sole partner of NCR solutions in Southern Africa, the company was recognised with NCR’s Service Partner of the Year and Circle of Distinction awards for 2013.
NCR is a global leader in consumer transaction technologies, with its most visible products being Self Service Automated Teller Machines used by many South African and African banks.
In securing the 2013 Service Partner of the Year award for the Asia, Middle East and Africa region, Bytes Managed Solutions (Bytes MS) demonstrated its ability to work effectively with NCR to provide service excellence to customers. This is measured in the quality of reputation, as rated by customers, and consistently delivering in line with Service Level Agreements (Bytes MS maintains more than 75% of NCR’s South African ATM installation base).
Alan Anderson, business development director at Bytes MS, stated that Bytes MS invests in continuous improvement, having conducted a technical refresh for all engineers, ensured the use of all diagnostic tools, and re-engineered end customer service delivery. “We have put in a good deal of effort, not with the goal of winning this award, but rather to enhance our accreditation with NCR and as an extension of that, our ability to deliver,” says Anderson.
“This is reflected in the favourable rating and also in the availability we have achieved for technology that banks rely on for their day to day business,” notes Anderson.
The second accolade, NCR’s Circle of Distinction, was made in recognition of Bytes MS exceeding its sales target in 2013. The two honours add to previous awards received from NCR, including the Partner Award Circle in 2010 and 2011, and the Most Successful Financial Industry Partner Worldwide in 2013.
