Uber, the app that connects riders with drivers, is now available in more than 200 cities around the world.
Uber’s vision for consumers is that no matter where they are, a reliable ride with Uber is just five minutes away.
This week, Uber launched in 24 new markets, reaching the 200 city milestone just four months after hitting 100.
The Uber network is now available in 205 cities across 45 countries and six continents. It covers more than 100 cities in the US (and 55% of the population), 10 cities in India, six in China and this month launched in 43 more cities across the globe.
The company next plan is to take the service to the 45 of the world’s 100 most populous cities that still don’t have Uber.
