AxizWorkgoup and Redington Gulf scooped the top distributor honours at VMware’s annual partner awards for South Africa and West East Central Africa (WECA) at a gala dinner in Johannesburg last night.
More than 20 of the vendor’s reseller and distribution partners from throughout the two regions were recognised for their contribution during the past year to VMware’s continued success on the continent.
“It gives me great pleasure to acknowledge and recognise the achievements the VMware partner ecosystem has made in 2013/2014 throughout the region,” says Mark Reynolds, partner and general business lead at VMware.
“Our partners have played a critical role in helping our customers move to the cloud, embrace the software-defined datacentre, as well as plot their path to the hybrid cloud.
“These awards recognise the dedication of our partners to the VMware brand as well as the continual investment they make in developing their skills and capacity in order to better support their customers,” Reynolds says.
