Home entertainment tops South Africa’s Christmas wish list this year, according to online retailer takealot.com.
The e-commerce site has revealed what parcels are most likely to be found under the Christmas tree this year, with a media player from the TV, Audio and Video category heading the list. The remainder of the top 10 indicates that kids are priority, with 40% of the most-shopped items headed for the smallest stockings on the mantelpiece.

The innovative e-tailer also revealed what the top five categories are when looking at the Christmas Gift purchases holistically. Even though the most popular Christmas gift, the Chromecast Media Player, is found under the TV, Audio and Video tab, it is the Computer category which dominates the Top 100 overall securing the title as Most Popular Christmas Gift Category for 2014.
