Enterprise resellers have voted for their favourite vendors and distributors, with HP dominating the vendor selection and AxizWorkgroup walking off with the Distributor of the Year award.

HP jostled with Lenovo, Dell and Samsung in the End User Computing category of the survey, but pipped the competition in the mobile computing and PC/workstation sections. Samsung was named top vendor in the handheld section.

Tarsus Technologies was voted the top End User Computing distributor.

HP dominated the Printers, Peripherals and Consumables category, winning the vendor award for inkjet printers, laser/multi-function printers, managed print services and consumables. Samsung was named the top monitor vendors and Acer the top projector supplier.

Pinnacle Africa was voted as the top distributor in the Printers, Peripherals and Consumables category of the Enterprise survey.

In the Servers, Storage and Networking category, HP was named as top vendor in the server, storage hardware, switch, wireless networking and virtualisation. APC was the favourite UPS/disaster recover vendor, Cisco won the award for unified communications/PABX and Cloud on Demand was named as the top cloud platform vendor.

AxizWorkgroup scooped the award as Distributor of the Year in the Servers, Storage and Networking category, as well as in the Software category.

The accounting software vendor in the Software category of the Enterprise survey was Sage. SAS Institute won the award as favourite business intelligence vendor while Microsoft is the top CRM software vendor. Microsoft also scooped the award for ERP software and for software and a service (SaaS).

HP made another appearance in the Software category, as the winning document management software vendor, while Pastel Payroll was named the top payroll vendor. Symantec scooped the top spot in the security section of the Enterprise survey.
