Amid ongoing economic pressure, exacerbated by labour issues, pressure on resources and rising costs, businesses must remain focused.
Wellness industry experts believe now is the time to truly instil a sense of unity amongst workers and build the team work dynamic.
Martina Laurie, chartered accountant and CEO of national mobile massage and wellness company Hands On Treatment, says the business climate has forced decision makers to focus more intently on services to strengthen the workforce.
“We have noticed an increase in interest in corporate conferences as well as the inclusion of wellness services – including massages, at corporate events,” said Laurie.
The rationale is that a relaxed, motivated and focused team ultimately responds better to challenges and is an asset to any venture, in any industry or sector Laurie explains.
Hands On Treatment is an example of an experienced service provider. Its personnel are fully trained in the provision of mobile massage services and team building activities.
“The emphasis is on ‘mobile’,” Laurie explains. “Our business model is flexible, so we have the resources to attend corporate events and also host events at our retreat. Logistics like transport, access, connectivity, accommodation and packages are all taken care of. This allows decision makers to maximise the opportunity and focus on strategies, resource utilisation and budgets.”
Linking the Hands On Treatment’s value proposition to the state of the market, Laurie says focused and steady approach by workers will ensure that ideas will flow and will translate into additional revenue streams.
While many entrepreneurs are proactive in their efforts to identify opportunities at any given time, they often fall into the trap of spreading their focus too thin.
“Their minds are everywhere and their attention is on a multiple areas, so they often lose focus. The risk to the business is that the entrepreneur finds him- or herself unable to move out of the ‘inventing’ or ideas stage.”
According to Laurie there has never been a more apt time to link up with mobile massage and team building services.
