From 1 June, Creative Cloud will be the exclusive source of future innovation to Adobe’s creative tools as the software company will no longer be offering its Creative Suite 6 software under licencing programmes.
These licencing programmes will, however, remain available for Acrobat and other Adobe products.
Creative Cloud allows Adobe to speedily deliver innovation to its customers, providing creative professionals with a seamless, connected and productive environment where they can access apps, services, and support – wherever and whenever they want.
“The best way to remain current on Adobe’s creative software – including exclusive access to all software updates and product innovation – is to join Creative Cloud,” says Jeremy Matthews, CEO of Dax Data, a leading local Adobe Distributor.
Since Creative Cloud’s release in 2012, Adobe has delivered over 500 new features exclusively to the members of this service.
“The momentum of users adopting Creative Cloud has exceeded our expectations – Adobe has over 1,4-million paid Creative Cloud members worldwide today,” says Matthews.
“With more and more customers migrating to Creative Cloud, discontinuing CS6 from TLP and CLP simplifies Adobe’s creative offerings, and ensures customers get the most innovative versions of the tools and services our creative solutions offer.”
Customers purchasing Creative Cloud before 30 May 2014 can save up to 40% on Creative Cloud for Teams or up to 33% on the single-app plan, when they purchase from any one of Adobe’s certified resellers.
