The COMESA Competition Commission has approved Telkom’s acquisition of Business Connexion, paving the way to the takeover being finalised.
Once the Competition Authorities have given the approval for the acquisition, approval must still be granted by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) and then the Takeover Regulation Panel can then issue a compliance certificate.
