South African marketing consultancy Database 360 has extended its business in the UK, opening a new office in Richmond, London.
According to sales director Louise Robinson: “Having a UK presence allows us to better serve existing, and potential, UK-based clients.”
Although Database 360 has worked with several UK-based organisations before, the move will allow for an increasing number of clients and stronger relationships.
“Having a UK-base also helps open up avenues for European companies looking to do business in Africa,” Robinson explains. “While we have had presence in the UK for a number of years, we are finding increasing interest in Africa on the parts of UK and European companies, and this move will help ensure that we can better service their needs.”
The strategic marketing consultancy specialising in lead generation and database creation, has marketing and database data from every African country, and the bulk of UK-based clients request data and lead generation services not from South Africa, but from other African countries.
“There are lucrative opportunities in the UK from companies needing our services to target and reach African countries. Enhancing our presence in the UK will ensure both local possibilities and international demands are met,” Robinson says. “While our base in South Africa offers easy access into the rest of Africa, London is a logical, and central, location from where to base our international sales. It’s close to Dubai, Europe and America – all regions from which we have clients, and each offering expansion opportunities. Clients feel more confident dealing with an international branch and seeing a person face-to-face in London.”
Africa has been earmarked as a big growth market in which to operate, but you need to know what you’re doing to achieve any kind of success in this dynamic environment, Robinson adds. “As Africa becomes an increasingly attractive location for international business ventures, we are seeing an increase in the number of corporate and public sector clients who ask for assistance in operating in African countries like Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Zambia. These organisations are leading the way in ensuring that their business growth taps into Africa’s potential, with the backing of the right partner.”
