Avanade South Africa has been appointed as the social analytics and data partner for The Inspiration Project – Africa, a premier event focused at growing and empowering African entrepreneurs.

Taking place on 1 November 2014, the Inspiration Project is an initiative aimed at creating an informed and empowered generation of economically savvy, politically astute and socially aware future leaders.

Africa’s iconoclasts, creative thinkers and social battalions inspire and empower other daring Africans by telling their stories in a variety of platforms, including live events, activations, videos and digital media. The initiative is constructed around three critical axes, namely economy, social capital and leadership.

“Avanade as the data and analytics partner will enable participants in the project to leverage the power of social analytics, mobility and analytics through Avanade Socialitics and Avanade Touch Analytics (ATA) solutions,” says Lourens Swanepoel, chief technology and innovation officer, Avanade South Africa.

“This will be done by providing real-time insight into the social sentiment on the topics covered on each delegate’s mobile device of choice, as well as enabling delegates to provide real-time feedback via social media platforms, empowering each person to actively participate in and shape the event.”

The main project event will be held at Monte Casino in the Il Grande Theatre.
