Kaizen IT Solutions, the software application development and K2 workflow division of First Technology, is pleased to announce that it is now officially trading as First Technology.
According to Willem Louw, one of the founders of Kaizen IT Solutions, this move formalises the company’s integration within the First Technology Group. He highlights that this transition will provide existing and future clients with greater access to end-to-end IT technology and service offerings. This includes improved scalability for clients and the confidence of dealing with one of South Africa’s premier IT solution providers.
Louw further elaborates that “First Technology’s well established back-end infrastructure and enterprise account management can now be utilised to the benefit of our clients. This will continue to be underpinned by the excellent service and expertise of Kaizen IT Solutions – including the provision of dedicated account managers as well as optimised back office processes.” He goes on to say that the integration with the broader First Technology business means that customers will also have access to national coverage through First Technology’s nine fully operational branches located throughout every province in South Africa. Each branch will be able to provide the same level of professional service and expertise.
“In addition we have skilled competencies and technical certifications for all major global brands, including HP, IBM, EMC, Microsoft and many more, all of which contribute towards the support of our clients’ business-critical infrastructures and processes.”
First Technology’s Level Two Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Contributor status also means that customers can maximise procurement points, ensuring further compliance with the BBBEE codes.
Arnold Sharp, First Technology Group CEO, explains that “The formal incorporation of Kaizen IT Solutions as the guiding force to the expansion of First Technology will, amongst other things, boost the organisation’s overall Microsoft partnership status, strengthen its offering within this sector, as well as expand the availability of other major vendor solutions – all for the benefit of its customers.”
He highlights that “As a Microsoft Gold partner and a K2 Value Added Reseller, the integration of Kaizen IT into First Technology will enhance our accreditation status at a group level. The new division also has multiple Microsoft competencies, including amongst others, a Microsoft Gold competency in Application Integration which highlights technical prowess in architecture, development and support, as well as exceptional customer satisfaction.”
Additional competencies residing within the new First Technology Division include: Business Process Management, Application and Mobile Development, Enterprise Content Management, Migration and Integration Services, and the provision of Digital Strategy to clients.
