MTN South Africa today introduced three new MTN PayAsYouGo bundles (R7, R12 and R17) that offers its prepaid customers more free value and a guaranteed rate of 99c per minute at any time of the day across all networks.
The MTN PayAsYouGo bundles also include free Midnight Minutes, free SMSes and free data; and are available to all prepaid customers for a three month period, from 17 March until 17 June 2014.
“These new MTN PayAsYouGo bundles are another way MTN is providing customers with access to more affordable solutions which offer greater value that meet customers’ needs. Prepaid users now have the option of purchasing either R7, R12 or R17 bundles which are inclusive of airtime, free midnight minutes, free data, and free SMSes in an easy-to-use bundle offering,” says Brian Gouldie, chief marketing officer at MTN South Africa.
To buy the new MTN Pay As You Go bundles and to continue getting more value from MTN, a prepaid customer can dial *141*2*794# and select the MTN PayAsYouGo bundle that best meets their budget and needs.
A R7 MTN PAYG bundle offers customers a guaranteed rate of 99c per minute (charged per second from the first second) to call any local network on their R7 inclusive value. The MTN PAYG bundle also includes 25 free MTN to MTN Midnight minutes to use from 00h00 to 06h59, five SMSes and 5Mb of data for two days.
The R12 PAYG bundle offers customers a guaranteed rate of 99c per minute on their R12 inclusive value plus 50 free MTN to MTN Midnight Minutes, 15 SMSes and 10 Mb for two days.
The R17 bundle also offers customers a guaranteed rate of 99c on their inclusive value as well as 75 free MTN to MTN Midnight Minutes, 30 SMSes and 20 Mb for three days.
Midnight minutes, data and SMSes that are not used within the validity period will expire and any unused bundle airtime will not be lost but revert to the price plan rate.
