Internet provider Neotel has launched affordable, enhanced high-speed broadband services.
Sunil Joshi, MD and CEO of Neotel, comments: “Customers in South Africa want a service and generally do not care about the underlying technology. In response to that feedback, Neotel is delighted to announce a technology agnostic wireless Broadband service that gives a similar experience regardless of the wireless technology being used such as LTE or WiMax.
“However, Neotel has taken it a step further: Neotel also took this opportunity to reduce the prices for wireless broadband and make it more affordable for South African business and customers. For example, 2Mbps unshaped broadband is now available at R699 (terms and conditions apply).”
The enhanced NeoBroadband Wireless services will be available from 10 November 2014 and will offer a consistent user experience and features across a future-proof, technology-agnostic and fixed wireless access network. This offering allows customers across South Africa to access the Internet using the most appropriate wireless media available via an expanded Neotel footprint of LTE, WiMax and other fixed wireless access technologies.
The service offers Internet freedom with unshaped and uncapped speeds ranging from 1Mbps to 10Mbps and great affordability, with 2Mbps fixed wireless service at R699 per month.
“In today’s world of communications, xDSL is no longer relevant to the needs of customers, says Joshi. “ADSL will eventually only be seen on the History Channel because what is now available is a real choice from Neotel and consistently great Internet user experience.”
