A new interactive Web site designed to help township outlets such as taverns, bars, clubs, shisa nyamas and carwashes CANnect with their customers and grow their business has recently launched in South Africa.
The new Web site, www.cando.sa.com, launched by Nampak Bevcan’s consumer facing brand CAN DO!, is set to revolutionise the way township outlets do business.
The new multidimensional mobile compatible site allows all kasi owners of taverns, bars, shisa nyamas and carwashes to upload their business’ profile free of charge, advertise online and communicate with their vibrant customers; inviting them to attend their events. Through the site, township business owners who do not have Web sites now have an opportunity to create an online presence to generate awareness and interest in their businesses.
CAN DO!’s Web site also offers outlets that are already active on social media and have their own Web sites exposure to a larger market that truly enjoy kasi parties .
“It is essentially a gig guide featuring all kasi parties and events in South Africa, with many more features that aim to keep CAN DO!’ers engaged and excited,” explains Alexandra Bouwer, marketing manager for Nampak Bevcan’s CAN DO! brand.
Outlets are listed with their upcoming parties and CAN DO!’ers are able to rate venues; keeping business owners aware of what’s happening in and around their outlets.
By interacting on the site, young South Africans who are ready to unleash the fun are able to CANnect with one another and find the freshest and safest can-in-hand parties at township outlets around Mzansi.
The platform also allows up-and-coming musicians to upload and promote their music, helping fresh young talent to launch their careers.
“The site was developed to increase aspiring artists’ chance of being discovered and even potentially being booked for a performance at a CAN DO! event,” Bouwer explains. Kasi outlets who are looking for artists to perform at their venues for their own private gigs are able to CANnect with these musicians on the CAN DO! Web site.
This new, fun and interactive multidimensional platform is sure to change the social scene and CANnect the fun to all township outlets and residents nationwide.
