NFS Technology, the specialist software company that supplies software for the hospitality industry, including for the conference and video conferencing markets, has announced it is to launch an aggressive campaign in West Africa, following the landing of its first client in Uganda.

This was confirmed by Nicolette Kruger, country manager at NFS Technology, who confirmed that the company has installed its roomMaster software– a hotel property management solution – and its POS solutions at the Humura Hotel in Uganda.

“The market in West Africa certainly appears to be buoyant, especially when it comes to conferencing requirements, a market we are able to comfortably address with our Rendezvous software – our scheduling and events management software solution.”

Kruger says the company would also shortly be announcing a number of “partnership agreements”, as part of its partnership drive.

“In order to enhance our presence in the region – and ensure that our after-sales levels are high- we will be working jointly with a number of business partners, with expertise in our market sector. Other companies are trying the direct approach, but are falling short when it comes to maintaining service levels.”

Commenting further, she said that revenue from West Africa will account for 15% to 20% of total revenue within 24 months.
