Global ICT specialist company Quintica is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerry Evans as MD for its African operations, Quintica Africa.
Evans previously held the position of managing director of the company’s South African operation. The announcement will see her responsibilities extend East Africa, including Kenya and Uganda, West Africa including Ghana, Nigeria and Angola as well as continued management of the South African business.
“Kerry has been an exemplary manager in the region and has grown the local business exponentially since she joined in 2012,” states Charles Osburn, CEO at Quintica. “It was clear to us that the extension of her duties, and the expansion of her responsibilities to include the rest of Africa, would not just be the logical choice for the business, but will also assist us in managing the ongoing growth Quintica is experiencing in the region as well as our plans for future expansion.”
Prior to joining Quintica as its managing director in 2012, Evans served tenures at a myriad IT companies and has an excellent reputation for starting ventures from scratch, restructuring environments that require it, bolstering and motivating sales teams and efforts in order to grow business.
“Quintica is a dynamic and innovative company that is proving to be a force to be reckoned with across the African continent,” states Evans. “Our portfolio of clients continues to grow and today we engage with some of the largest global companies in telecommunications, mining, finance and manufacturing (to name a few).
“Our African operations saw extensive growth in 2013 which has fuelled even more interest from potential customers, growth we aim to harness through investing in our resources, management, skills and offices in the region. I am personally looking forward to unlocking the future potential of the region.”
Today Quintica is a specialist systems integrator and service management provider to the telecommunications, resources and financial services marketplace, providing technology and consulting solutions around ITSM, disaster recovery and business continuity to name a few. The company also has an ever-expanding training arm that specialises on the delivery of varying levels of ITIL, COBIT and ISO training.
