Television and household appliance vendor Hisense has partnered with Rectron, giving the distributor rights to the full Hisense TV range within the ICT channel – including the new 84-inch UHD TV.

“With this being our newest partnership in the channel, we could not think of a better distribution partner than Rectron to help develop our channel model,” says Ebrahim Khan, deputy GM at Hisense. “We look forward to leveraging off Rectron’s trusted channel capabilities and driving positive uptake of our TV range in the channel.”

In December 2013, Hisense had a 19% market share, with the brand clinching second place in the market for televisions

This partnership will assist in growing Hisense’s brand presence within the South African retail channel.

Each of Hisense’s TVs have a three year warranty, which further complements the value, affordability and reliability of the TV range.
