With businesses today diving into the social space at a dizzying pace, Oracle Social Cloud and Altimeter Group have released a new e-book that details how organisations can evolve across an increasingly dynamic and competitive landscape and become socially enabled businesses.

Entitled Delivering on the Promise of Social Business, the Altimeter Group-authored report presents six steps toward becoming a social business.

The allure of success in social has accelerated its adoption into traditional business processes. With an average of 178 social accounts per enterprise, the proliferation of disparate properties, accounts, and customer interactions has begun to affect business groups across the enterprise.

The e-book, authored by Altimeter Group Founder Charlene Li and Senior Researcher Jessica Groupman, presents readers with identifiable steps toward adopting social business practices as well as real-world examples of how organisations are successfully integrating social media into business processes.
