How the resellers voted

Enterprise resellers have voted for their favourite vendors and distributors, with HP dominating the vendor selection and AxizWorkgroup walking off with the Distributor of the Year award. HP jostled with Lenovo, Dell and Samsung in the End User Computing category of the survey, but pipped the competition in the mobile computing and PC/workstation sections. Samsung was named top vendor in the handheld section. Tarsus Technologies was voted the top End User Computing distributor.

AxizWorkgroup the reseller favourite

AxizWorkgroup has been voted by consumer and SME resellers as their favourite distributor in 2014, having won two out of five categories in the Consumer/SME section of the annual Channelwise Awards. Lenovo to resurrect Motorola brand

For generations, the Motorola brand has been synonymous with quality IT – from microchips through to cell phones – especially in South Africa. And, while it has largely disappeared since the company was gobbled up by Google, its subsequent acquisition by Lenovo is set to see the brand restored to its former glory.
