Twitter has announced a new feature in support of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, which will start on Saturday 14 February.
The Cricket World Cup timeline gives Twitter users single point for cricket Tweets, commentary and expert analysis, plus photos, videos and Vines from the side-lines at the world’s biggest cricketing event.
A match timeline will come alive for every game so you can see all the score updates as well as Tweets related to that game from within the user’s network or official accounts.
Users who aren’t already following their favourite players or teams playing that day can simply click on their country flags or player names to see their Twitter accounts.
A tournament timeline offers users the buzz about the #CWC15 tournament and has the schedule of the matches. Users simply click on any match to get to the relevant match timeline.
The Cricket World Cup Timeline is available now on the latest Twitter for iPhone and Android apps, as well as on twitter.com.
