South Africa’s first video on demand service, where you can enjoy movies and TV shows over the internet – can now be watched on any device including tablets and smartphones without an app.
However, if subscribers prefer going via the app route, that option is now available through Android and IOS as part of the second phase of VIDI’s roll-out.
VIDI, which was launched in September this year, offers a monthly subscription option to a library of movies and award-winning TV series for only R149 per month, with your first month subscription absolutely free. Viewers don’t require a dish or a decoder and they can cancel their subscription anytime as there are no contracts.
Viewers also have the option to Instantly Rent the latest releases just off the circuit individually for R27 and a selection of premier library titles from as little as R15.
With VIDI, there is no programme scheduling but rather instant access to thousands of hours of television and movie entertainment.
Now available across multiple devices, viewers can stream content on PC, Mac, laptop, Apple and Android tablets and smartphones. Users can access Vidi through your browser on any device or you can download Android or IOS apps. VIDI is not only an advert- free and schedule-free platform, but is also adaptive to internet speeds and can work from slow or fast internet connections.
VIDI offers a 30-day free trial membership.
