“Symantec is a key partner to Westcon throughout the Southern Africa region, and SADC plays an important role in the growth of our business, particularly in this era of cloud computing,” states Leane Hannigan, Cloud Solutions director at WestonGroup Southern Africa.
“As we gear our business to bring the cloud services and solutions closer to our resellers, so are our partners gearing their offerings to help their end-user customers make the journey to the cloud securely, which is where Symantec continues to make a substantial contribution to the peace of mind of customers looking to make inroads to the cloud.”
Today Symantec provides security, storage and systems management solutions to customers across the globe. The company has a physical presence in over 50 countries, and provides its products and services that are geared to securing and managing an information-driven world through a select base of global distributors and accredited reseller partners. Its products touch the lives of consumers, small business, right through to large global organisations.
“Looking ahead we at Westcon will continue to invest in developing, growing and nurturing our Symantec channel, providing them with the support and services they need in order to transform their businesses to be able to deliver, smarter, more robust, risk adverse business solutions that enable information and mobile workers on site and in the cloud,” ends Hannigan.
