WestonGroup has announced the company has made a clean sweep of the Motorola Solutions 2014 Awards.
The value-added distributor came in tops, taking the prestigious Motorola Solutions Distributor of the Year for 2014 in southern Africa. A Motorola partner since 1994, WestconGroup’s Mobility Solutions practice in Southern Africa has developed an established channel throughout the region, complemented by a team of experts in its own business – all geared towards supporting partners in every step of the pre- and post-sales process.
“Motorola remains a key vendor for us in Southern Africa, and we are delighted to have received this award which ultimately recognises our ongoing commitment to the Motorola Solutions brand and product range,” states Paul Conradie, CEO, at WestconGroup in Southern Africa. “Furthermore we do believe that the growth in this area of our business highlights the importance of mobility and smart computing solutions in the Southern African region.”
In addition to the award as the top distributor, individual members of the WestconGroup Mobility Solutions team were singled out for exceptional performance. These include Melanie Nelson, who received the top accolade for exceptional performance in 2014. Additionally, Lenny Naicker received Motorola Solutions “Distributor Sales Person for 2014”.
